Victoria DeRenzo has presented her choreography in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts,  Ohio and Texas. Her work can described as physical dance theatre, rich with athleticism, imagery and plot. Her longest work "THIS IS NOT A DRILL," a forty-minute production merging live dance, film, and set design draws inspiration from the Theatre of the Absurd. When World War II broke the world—genocide, nuclear threats, the weaponization of language—the postwar playwrights of the Theatre of the Absurd responded by throwing out all the rules and yielding a new genre marked by surrealism and inscrutability.  Victoria DeRenzo explores these dramatic tools in a post-Trump era, suggesting that absurdism may very well be the only way to depict the true sensation of our time.
